...... Many Americans write living wills, believing that under certain
........circumstances, their "choice to die"  will be honored.

             Americans need to be aware of detailed legal and medical
        definitions before finalizing documents that  can, in many cases,
        lead to death by starvation.

        Starving to death without water is a long, slow, painful, process.
        No one "chooses to die" slowly or  painfully.   People choose
        cannibalism first.

.........People who "want to die" want to end suffering  not prolong it.
